PEN AND PAPER POINT!

As I sip this sweet wine and run my finger round its tip am in deep thought. The gentle breeze is courteous enough to sort of blow my troubles away and not my hair. I can only imagine what would happen if I am on my fifth round of this stuff. Last time a similar scenario happened I saw four types of skies when i rose up from the chair and I don’t remember how I got to bed…did I even dream? Or at least I wished I was the next morning when the terrible hang down consumed my peace.

Damn it! I always learn this lesson every  time and maybe the main lesson I am yet to learn is to finally learn it! Don’t we always swear never to drink again at this point? Then we do and again we swear until it becomes a tune to the mind. Anyway, having said that, today’s pen and paper point edition focuses on the lessons we learn in life, those that we fight and those that we make people learn from our testimonies. We all encounter that brutal ‘I wish I knew’ moment that drags us to a limited zone of life.

However, lessons are more so like steps; you learn that they are steep, they take you higher and you step on each to move on to the next. Period! That’s just how it is point blank. There is no need to wallow in your failures or disappointments. That man who made you cry over and over again. That lady who made you waste a whole lot of your precious time. They were only worth it before you learn the lesson, after you do, they become NON-FACTORS! Soo…accept things went south, they caught you off-guard and now you are on another level.
