PEN AND PAPER POINT

Rita ora 2 rita ora

Don’t you just get exhausted of the same damn things? Same clothes, same food, same light, same speech, same ringtone, same feeling, oh I just can’t! It is waaay too exhausting! Quite frankly, it wears me out terribly. So even with my coffee addiction, I have learnt to pump the breaks and throw a little chocolate and tea in between. I mean, at the end of the day, sanity is needed. Even the hair gets tired of black at some point and jumps off to grey.

Addiction is real but we might actually be addicted to complacency. You are sure tired of that zone but you just can’t breakaway because you do not want to try out what you are not used to. Funny thing is that you visualize the change every single minute but all you are good at is procrastinating.
You need to be tired of that man who calls you for a booty call every two weeks or month yet you do not talk about what you are doing and where it is going.

You need to be tired of that girl who strings you along without hope for a chance and you certainly need to be tired of that job that takes 2 years of your life and still leaves you at the point you started. Now, you can translate this however you want to suit areas of your life but make sure you get rid of boring. Change is always a plunge but it is exciting and it simply equates to life. I learnt that if you do not embrace change, then you are not living, you should die. Think about it, no need to waste airspace.

What’s my point? Get up and get something new, or someone perhaps 😉 I know I did. Ain’t nobody got time for plateau phases. According to Sydney J. Harris, our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better. This is some twisted truth! But I still hold it down for George C. Lichtenberg who says “I cannot say whether things will get better if we change; what I can say is that they must change if they are to get better”.

Enough said! Do what you gotta do. In today’s Pen and Paper Point, we feature the gorgeous and sexy Rita Ora’s track R.I.P. Apart from being fashion forward, this lovely British queen has a very sexy voice to get you out of the boring zone. Best believe. This track is an adventure of self, an exciting expedition that helps you get your own attention. As you get the words right, I will leave you with one statement. BE DARING! Mwaa!

“R.I.P.” By Rita Ora
(feat. Tinie Tempah)
[Rita Ora – Chorus]
R.I.P. to the girl you used to see
Her days are over, baby she’s over
I decided to give you all of me
Baby come closer, baby come closer

[Tinie Tempah]
Sexy senorita, I feel your aura
Jump out that new motor
Get in my flying saucer
I’ll make you call me daddy
Even though you ain’t my daughter
Baby I ain’t talking books
When I say that I can take you across the borders
I’m young and free, I’m London G
I’m tongue in cheek
So baby give me some time to drink
Slow and steady for me
Go on like a jezzy for me
And say the words soon as you’re ready for me

[Rita Ora]
I’m ready for ya
Hit ’em all, switch it up
Put ’em on, zip it up
Let my perfume, soak into your sweater
Say you’ll be here soon, sooner the better
No option for, you saying no
I run this game, just play a role
Follow my lead, what you waiting for?
Thought it over and decided tonight is your night

[Pre-Chorus]
Ca-a-an you fe-e-el my He-he-he-he-heart is beatin’
Ca-a-an you fe-e-el my He-he-he-he-heart is beatin’

[Chorus]
R.I.P. to the girl you used to see
Her days are over, baby she’s over
(I-I-I’m ready for ya)
I decided to give you all of me
Baby come closer, baby come closer
(I-I-I’m ready for ya)

[Rita Ora]
Nothing on, I strut around
I do it big, I shut it down
I wonder if you’ll be able to handle me
Mental pictures, no cameras please

[Pre-Chorus]
Ca-a-an you fe-e-el my He-he-he-he-heart is beatin’
Ca-a-an you fe-e-el my He-he-he-he-heart is beatin’

[Chorus]
R.I.P. to the girl you used to see
Her days are over, baby she’s over
(I-I-I’m ready for ya)
I decided to give you all of me
Baby come closer, baby come closer
(I, I, I’m ready for ya)

[Bridge]
Yeah I hear you talking
Don’t know who you trying to flatter
Got my mind made up (I, I, I’m ready for ya)
I’m in control, but with you being a man,
You don’t seem to understand (I, I, I’m ready for ya)
I, I, I’m ready for ya
I, I, I’m ready for ya
So keep thinking you the man
Cause it’s all part of my plan
I, I, I’m ready for ya

[Pre-Chorus]
Ca-a-an you fe-e-el my He-he-he-he-heart is beatin’
Ca-a-an you fe-e-el my He-he-he-he-heart is beatin’

[Outro]
R.I.P. to the girl you used to see
Her days are over
