PEN AND PAPER POINT!

In life we dig, but its funny how we don’t get what we are digging for because many are times we land in the opposites. Those who dig for dirt amusingly find the treasure (don’t know how that happens) and those who dig for treasure are prized with the package of dirt. Interesting. As I try to understand the physics, the history (where would it all have started anyway), the math (since someone tried to prove to me that 1+1 could be 11–pshh i know right???) and oh well, the philosophy of this preposterous situation, I am still baffled. That we have to climb and find ourselves in the ground, that we dig and create a ground hole that fits our heights for us to realize that we bury ourselves slowly with the soil we throw over our shoulders. Then we are lost in the ground lost and battling motionlessly, in the absence of energy. Then we conclude that it was over before it even started. What happens when it rains and we stuck in the ground? When the sun shines and we are out of touch with the raise? When or ears are only alert to the footsteps over our heads? The solution would be a motivation. Our solutions can never be the same that’s why the most effective motivation comes from within. We have the intrinsic power to break out of our situations if only we are patient to learn.

Here’s what I figured, life will always be unfair to us, so why should we be fair to it by giving it the satisfaction that it managed to shove defeat into our throats? I say, bring it on! We might be down but not out! Let us be unfair too by pushing on. Today’s edition of pen and paper point features an inspirational song by a girl whose metamorphosis in the music industry is still not complete. Her growth is peculiar but still entertaining. I am still having a problem with tapping her recent personality though. Hannah Montana was plain to see. You can only figure it out when you are high on something. *hides*. The Climb by Miley Cyrus which was originally Its the Climb as the two talented country songwriters, Jessi Alexander and John Mabe purport is an amazing single that has an intense emotional effect of fans across all music genres. I still cannot believe it faced a number of short-changings and rejections in various platforms but what matters is that it pulled through and spoke to me from this end of the world. The efforts and persistence of these songwriters continue to convince me that motivation is intrinsic since the song is a story of their lives. Lets get inspired beautiful people.

THE CLIMB BY MILEY CYRUS

I can almost see it
That dream I’m dreaming, but
There’s a voice inside my head saying
You’ll never reach it
Every step I’m takin’
Every move I make
Feels lost with no direction
My faith is shakin’
But I, I gotta keep tryin’
Gotta keep my head held high

There’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose
Ain’t about how fast I get there
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb

The struggles I’m facing
The chances I’m taking
Sometimes might knock me down, but
No I’m not breaking
I may not know it, but
These are the moments that
I’m gonna remember most, yeah
Just gotta keep goin’
And I, I gotta be strong
Just keep pushing on, ’cause

There’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose
Ain’t about how fast I get there
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb

Yeah
There’s always gonna be another mountain
I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose
Ain’t about how fast I get there
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Keep on movin’
Keep climbin’
Keep the faith baby
It’s all about, It’s all about the climb
Keep the faith, keep your faith, whoa, whoa, oh
